YouTube Short Incentive Fund $100 million will be distributed to content producers
Popular video platform YouTube has announced that it has expanded the incentive fund it created for the short video feature called " Shorts ", which it launched to compete with TikTok and Instagram Reels , to Turkey as well. Within the scope of the aforementioned fund, it was stated that a budget of $100 million had been allocated to be distributed to content producers.
Popular video platform YouTube, which operates under the umbrella of US-based technology giant Google , has launched the short video feature called ' Shorts ' in order to compete with TikTok and Instagram Reels. The platform has created a global incentive fund to support creators' participation in the feature. The company recently announced that the said incentive fund will be opened for Turkey as well.
He stated that the incentive fund project, which extended to more than 100 countries in July, will distribute a total of $100 million to content producers. He stated that content producers who meet the qualifications for a share of the fund can earn between $100 and $10,000 per month.
What is required to benefit from the YOUTUBE SHORTS Incentive Fund?
according to the details transmitted; YouTube Short funding will not require any application and will only be given to users designated by Google . Content creators will need to meet certain requirements to be eligible for this funding:
- The channel has uploaded at least one short video that meets the specified conditions in the last 180 days, -
Comply with YouTube Community Rules, Copyright Rules and Monetization Policies, -
The content producer has exceeded the age of majority in the relevant country and region, -
13 and creators under the age of 18 have parent or guardian consent and an AdSense account is created by the parent or guardian if they do not have an AdSense account associated with the channel
with this; Creators who are eligible to receive funding from Google will be notified by email with the links @youtube.com and @google.com. The payments will be credited to your AdSense account . Creators of YouTube Partner and affiliates within the Multi-Channel Network will also be able to take advantage of the YouTube Shorts Incentive Fund .
