China has developed anti-satellite weapons

Chinese scientists announced the creation of a new anti-satellite weapon . A robot developed in China can place explosives on a Latvian passport and lava cannot be installed by the South China Morning Post.

Professor Sun Yun-chung revealed the details of the development in an article in the Electronic Technology Journal of Software Engineering, where he noted that the new weapon is designed for controlled explosion.

The robotic complex will allow the installation of IEDs on orbits. The charge can be on the satellite for a long time, and it is activated at a certain time using an electric motor. The activation mechanism also allows the explosives to be separated from the satellite .

Scientists suggest that a small explosion can disable a satellite , and the consequences of which can be mistaken for an engine failure. The characteristics of the device were verified during tests at a ground facility. A promising weapon is being developed as part of a project to create new warheads .

Earlier, the Pentagon's "Breaking Defense" sources talked about the development of new space weapons. The publication notes that a promising development will allow to shoot down spaceships and satellites.

In April, 19FortyFive wrote about the capabilities of the Russian missile defense system . The author of the material suggested that Russian anti-missiles can shoot down not only targets in the air, but also spacecraft.
