The full form of an LCD screen is a "liquid crystal display" . It is a flat screen technology. With the development of technology, a new version of the CRT monitor came with an LCD screen , which is smaller and lighter in weight than a CRT monitor. It is used in monitors of computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, laptops, etc.
These screens consist of several types of layers. LCD screens consist of two layers of polarized glass, between which is a liquid crystal solution. As the light passes through the first layer, the electric current aligns the fluid crystals. To form a clear image on this aligned liquid crystal display, the light must pass through the second layer, and as a result we see a clear image on the LCD screen.

3. LED display
The full form of LED lights is a "light-emitting diode" . LED display is the latest technology nowadays or we can also call it an upgraded version of LCD display. It has a flat screen and uses liquid crystal display technology like the LCD screen.
The difference between LCD and LED is that only the light source is for the backlight of the display and LEDs use diodes (indicators) for the backlight. LED screens have several types of LED panels and each panel has several LEDs backlighting behind the screen, while LCD screens use cold cathode fluorescent light (CCFL) to illuminate the backlit screen.
LED screens are used in modern electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, LED TVs, laptops, and computer monitors. The LED screen displays high-quality images with high contrast. They last longer than other monitors and consume less power.
4. Plasma screen
Plasma screen is the latest projector technology. Plasma screen is also flat screen, which is based on plasma display technology, hence it is also called plasma display.
Plasma screen made of glass. These glass screens are filled with a mixture of chemicals and gases. Besides being a very thin screen, it is light in weight and also consumes less power. Liquid crystal display (LCD) technology is used in this monitor. It is more expensive than LED and LCD.
Plasma screens are high-contrast displays, with greater brightness and vibrant colors. Plasma screens are much better than Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which provides a different great visual experience for watching action movies, sports, and more.
5. TFT screen
The full form of a TFT display is a "thin film transistor" and is called a thin film transistor . TFT is a display technology used for LCD screens, mobile phone screens, or other display devices. TFT monitors have better display quality than other monitors. High quality photos and videos can now be viewed in the TFT screen.
These screens are the new technology used as a computer display. In this also we are using flat screen display like LED. It is light in weight and slim in size, and it also reduces power consumption.
