What is sensor| What is sensitive and the types of sensor  technology

Hello today in this post we are going to talk about  sensors, what is a sensor (what is a sensor)  and  how many types of sensors are there (type of sensor)  , what are their functions?  Today we will discuss all these topics.  Let's see,  sensor

Today in this growing age of technology , sensors are used all around us in electrical appliances. You might be surprised to know  how often the  sensor is used  in our daily routine, too   Sensors are in all those electronic devices that we use at home, in the office, at work, in our cars, and just about everywhere.  Today we are so dependent on our devices that we can't even imagine living without them, and these sensors are used in almost all devices.

Nowadays we are in such an age, where we want to know everything instantly. You want to know remote information anytime, anywhere, from any device.  For example, if you want to know the weather information , you have to use the app on your smartphone .  Before you can open the app, you'll need to use the biometric sensor to unlock your phone at that point.

By the way, there are hundreds of weather sensors in different geographic locations to find out weather information.  Weather Weather sensors  display the  air making up the speed, humidity, solar energy, lighting, temperature, etc. Sensors are mostly used in electronic devices , such as remote controls , lights, cameras, cell phones , smart TVs , robots , satellites , etc. That is, sensors have become an important part of our daily lives

Sensor identification

A sensor is an electronic device used to detect and monitor bodily movements and pass information or signals to other types of electrical control devices.  In other words, a sensor is an electronic device that converts electrical energy from one form to another and gives information.

What is a sensor (what is a sensor)

Sensor ( sensing ) word from meaning that any of the data  you feel  .  This is the feeling or knowledge.  A sensor is a device that detects inputs (such as motion, pressure, temperature, light, heat, humidity, etc.) from the physical environment in nature and responds as an output.  The output signal data is usually  in the form of  a human-readable screen  or  a switching electrical signal on the sensor which can be seen and read by humans on the screen of the electrical device.

In other words, a sensor is a device that detects the presence of any physical object in the vicinity of the external environment and gives information about it.  There are different types of sensors available in the market which are used to detect light, motion, temperature, magnetic field, gravity, humidity, humidity, vibration, pressure, electric field, sound and other physical objects in the external environment.  Any data information from the environment is collected using sensors and used  for the Internet of Things

For example, equipped with sensors in vehicles that check the air in the tires of vehicles, open or turn off the automatic doors of the car ,   light sensors help  automatically turn on the headlight on the engine cooling system, etc.

Apart from this,   the remote sensing is used  to change the TV channel in your home   There are also sensors in the refrigerator like the refrigerator, which is the light sensor.  When the fridge door is opened, the light inside the fridge lights up and as soon as the fridge door is closed, the fridge bulb goes out too.

Sensor type

Basically, the analog sensor (  analog  ) and digital (  was divided  digital  as follows).   Analog sensors tell us  very accurate information about physical objects.  Whereas   digital sensors tell us  where things are.  There are many different types of sensors that are used in a variety of ways, from easy tasks to difficult ones.  Some of these key sensors are-

temperature sensor

The temperature sensor measures the temperature of different types of objects or the change in temperature in the environment.  It is mostly used in medical, automobile, aerospace, computer, refrigerator, air-conditioning system, agricultural sectors, etc.  At present, in B Covid-19 ,  it is used as a  thermometer mail  often to check body temperature.  Examples are such devices as thermocouple, thermometer, resistance temperature detector, semiconductor temperature sensors, etc.

proximity sensor

The proximity sensor detects nearby objects very easily without touching them.  This sensor is mostly used in smartphones, tablet computers, machines, robotic systems, electronic devices, etc.  It can be of many types like-

  • capacitive proximity sensors
  • Inductive proximity sensors
  • magnetic proximity sensors

infrared sensor

The infrared sensor is also called IR blaster or remote sensor.  The infrared sensor measures the heat of any object, and it can also detect movement.  Infrared sensors emit infrared light.  With the help of IR Sensors , a smartphone can be used as a remote control.
For example - Infrared sensors are used in TV remote control, Set Top Box, DVD player, car audio player, AC remote control or any electrical remote control.

light sensor

The light sensor is a photoelectric device.  Converts light energy into an electrical signal.  That is why it is also called an image sensor.  Using sensors light on a large - scale solar power systems, automotive, agriculture sectors, and mobile phones , computers, and tablet devices, and security applications , etc.  These are of three types.

  • (photodiode)
  • (phototransistor)
  • (photoresistor)

accelerometer sensor

An accelerometer sensor is a device that measures the speed, acceleration, or speed of a particular device or vehicle.  This sensor is used in many applications.  Such as controlling robots by hand gestures , navigation facilities for aircraft and missiles, accelerating vehicles, rotating electronic devices such as turbines, pulleys, propellers, compressors, pumps and more.

Pressure-gauge

Pressure sensor is also known as pressure transducer/transmitter or pressure gauge.  The pressure sensor provides electrical signals to the control unit by detecting the pressure of air, gas, liquid and water.  Pressure sensors are used in many systems such as pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, vacuum systems, etc.

ultrasonic sensors

Using the ultrasonic sensor, we find out the distance between sending and receiving ultrasonic signals.  They have three main parts, the  transmitter  ,  receiver  and  trans receiver  .  These sensors emit sound waves at frequencies that humans cannot hear.  They are used to measure fluid levels, autonomous driving, altitude control, automated sensing, etc.  It can also be used in security related equipment.

touch sensor

The sense of touch  is also called  tactile sensing  .  It is used to detect physical touch and in industrial applications.  Such as turning on/off the light, remote control by air conditioner (AC) , opening/closing doors, robots, laptop, smartphones , etc.

For  example -  the oximeter is the best example of a  touch sensor to  know the level of oxygen in the human body.  In the COVID-19 pandemic , pulse oximetry is in high demand.  It is very easy to use even in your home.

smoke or gas sensor

Gas or smoke-specific equipment uses a  smoke sensor   called   smoke sensor  ).  These sensors detect different types of toxic or explosive gases smoked in the air.  The smoke sensor is used in buildings, ships, factories, industries, aircraft, etc.  The smoke or gas sensor is divided into three parts.

  • Optical type smoke sensors
  • Ionization type smoke sensors
  • Laser smoke sensors

humidity sensor

The  humidity sensor is  also known as  a hygrometer  .  This sensor is very useful in detecting atmospheric air temperature and soil moisture.  Mostly it is used in air conditioners (AC).  The WS1 Pro is  an example of a wireless humidity sensor.

flow sensor

The flow sensor detects flow and level information for any liquid.  It is a magnetic device , when the water level rises, it sends a signal to the magnet switch so that the controller can be controlled by alarm .  This sensor is used in industrial sector, power generation equipment , power plant, etc.

tent sensor

The tilt sensor detects the tilt or rotation of the surface and the angular momentum in different axes of objects.  They are mostly used as security alarms in vehicles, boats, planes, etc. to avoid accidents.

Sensor app name

Sensors are used in a variety of industries for a variety of applications. It is widely used in daily life applications as well as in the fields of industrial applications.  Sensors applications are used in electronic projects , robotics, industry, telecommunications ,  computers   and many more.

Sensors collect different types of information from the environment and send it to the computer as input.  The system then converts the input into an output signal and the information is then visible to the user on an analog or digital device.  Here are the names of some sensor applications-

  • Automation
  • Robotics
  • medical
